Paint Correction Process on a '68 GT Mustang

This is a '68 Mustang GT that my client requested paint correction to be done on.

This was my first time to use the Gloss-It products.

I started out by color-sanding the vehicle using 1500 grit, then moving to 2500 grit and completing the color-sanding using 3000 grit. I then used the Gloss-It Extreme Cut with a yellow wool pad on a orbit machine. Once I had the 3000 grit sand marks out of the paint, I moved to the Gloss-It Evolution Cut using my DA and a yellow Meguiar’s foam pad. Next using another yellow Meguiar’s foam pad I put the Gloss-It Evolution Polish on the vehicle and finished off with the Gloss-It Gloss Activator and the Gloss-It Gloss Finish. I think the photos show it best! It turned out great and the depth of shine is very apparent. Gloss-It turned this 68 into a show winning classic car.

Enjoy the photos...
