I was called to detail this 07 Mini Cooper S. Upon arrival the car looked ok in the sun. Only just a little bit of the swirls were noticeable. The owner fessed up and told me that he took the vehicle to a local car wash to get an oil change and with out his knowledge they waxed his vehicle.
After we stripped the vehicle of the wax and clayed the vehicle and dried the vehicle the damage showed. What you can see in the photos is pretty much every panel on the vehicle.
Under time constraints to keep on the days schedule; I used the Evolution Cut with a yellow pad on the entire vehicle. Used a micro-fiber polishing towel to remove the Evolution Cut and then sprayed the vehicle with a 70/30 solution of alcohol and water.
Once I had the vehicle looking 90% better, I applied the activator and finished up with the Gloss-It Gloss Finish with the 7424 and a red pad. After an application of the Gloss Enhancer spray the vehicle looked 110% better than when we first arrived.
Had I more time, I could have worked out more of the paint issues, but I fell the outcome was a great turn around and I know I have added another Detail Werkz customer to my list.
