One of my good clients picked up a viper from a neighbor of his that had never really been driven. When I got there and checked out the car it had a some areas with light micro scratches, I grabbed GI One Step Machine Polish with a Gloss it Yellow pad for the 7424. Once I had everything corrected I applied Gloss Activator followed by a coat of Gloss Finish. My client loved the turn around of his car and can't stop talking about how great it looks.

I have a black 2008 Jeep SRT8 and a black 2005 Neon SRT4 that both need some good detailing, and I need some suggestions on what to order.

The Jeep is in pretty good shape but does have a couple light scratches and some swirl marks. The neon is a different story, it has alot of swirl marks and a couple small scratches, but it is 5 years old and it needs a good cleaning. I've washed, claybar'd and waxed it a couple times but now I am ready to make it look new again.

I have never used a buffer (I've used that PowerBall thing, but it was junk) so I was looking at ordering one but I am not sure what kind of pads to use.

Can someone point me in the right direction on to what pads I should get as well as what Gloss it products I should order?

Hi everyone,

I visited Rich @ Gloss it here in Las Vegas a few weeks ago and I left with an opportunity to try a couple of cool products.

Gloss it wheel:

Doesn't smell too bad like other wheel cleaners and its clear looking.

I diluted it 3:1 and gave it a go following the instructions.


After letting it dwell for a couple of minutes.

Right after some very light agitation and pressure washing it. It looks great, especially for doing barely any work, and I realize I missed a spot ):


Gloss it tire gloss.
Its a milky color and has no ill smell, I forgot to take pictures of the actual bottles ):

Sprayed it on and let it dwelled for a few sections

Sorry about the bad picture, but afterwards I spread it with an application and I love the shine it gives, not too much shine, but not a complete matte look. It has been 3 weeks since I took that picture and the shine is holding up well on my car.

Driven Perfection prepared two black Porsches to be curbside in front of the boutique for the episode.

Pulling this thing in my garage was the scariest thing ever as I kept on having the vision of goin through the back of my wall.
This is black corvette #2 for me, and this was only a "half job".
He drives this to work, 64km there and 64km back, every day on the highway!!! Awesome!

Hey everyone, I'm back. Ive been away for a while working away with some big projects, the current one is a full build and paint job on a 56 chev truck, ill share pics when the time is right. But for now I just wanted to share a project or 2 Ive worked on.
Recently, a return customer brought me his toyoa tundra crew cab for a full paint correction. A lot of the paint was chipped big time on the hood and body as he uses the truck every day to go to work, and back and forth in town. However, I have never seen paint in such bad shape as what this guy had on his truck!!! I honestly thought I was gonna have to wetsand the entire truck, but wanted to see what would happen if I didnt.
Now I dont know what it is about me and polishing, but EVERY vehicle Ive been brought (with the exception of what I paint) has been black. I mean every single one. I have no idea what its like to do a paint correction on a silver or a red vehicle haha. Makes me work harder I guess.

This is the after of the pic with the big scratch. This is how much the paint correction system got out of it with NO WET SANDING!!! Crazy.






Well thats it. By far the worst paint Ive ever worked on. If i can get out scratched and rids like that without wetsanding, I have the confidence to attack any job thats come up to me. even if it is black.....

Sorry I have not been around for awhile. But just because I haven't been around doesn't mean I haven't been busy! This weekend I did a 12k 997 S with only minor scratches from washing. It's nice to not work with a basket case for a change! Sorry, no before pics as my wife had the camera on an away trip that weekend. One of these days I'm going to figure out how to get pictures off my phone.....

The process for this one was easy.

--Wash and clay.

--Two times around with Extreme Cut and a fast cut orange pad. I used my Griot's DA to do the cutting.

--Once around with Evo Cut and my Cyclo and yellow pads

--Once around with Evo Polish and Green pads with my DA.

--LSP is Gloss Finish applied with my DA on a red pad.









The drive home in it makes me glad I drive a truck, because I would get in a BUNCH of trouble in this car.

I've done lots of cars this summer I just have not made the time to post anything - more to come soon, and it's all with Gloss-It ;)
