Hey everyone, I'm back. Ive been away for a while working away with some big projects, the current one is a full build and paint job on a 56 chev truck, ill share pics when the time is right. But for now I just wanted to share a project or 2 Ive worked on.
Recently, a return customer brought me his toyoa tundra crew cab for a full paint correction. A lot of the paint was chipped big time on the hood and body as he uses the truck every day to go to work, and back and forth in town. However, I have never seen paint in such bad shape as what this guy had on his truck!!! I honestly thought I was gonna have to wetsand the entire truck, but wanted to see what would happen if I didnt.
Now I dont know what it is about me and polishing, but EVERY vehicle Ive been brought (with the exception of what I paint) has been black. I mean every single one. I have no idea what its like to do a paint correction on a silver or a red vehicle haha. Makes me work harder I guess.

This is the after of the pic with the big scratch. This is how much the paint correction system got out of it with NO WET SANDING!!! Crazy.






Well thats it. By far the worst paint Ive ever worked on. If i can get out scratched and rids like that without wetsanding, I have the confidence to attack any job thats come up to me. even if it is black.....
