Gloss It 3" and 5" Rotary BP: feedback?

I would like to get some feedback or reviews of the Evo backing plates, and if possible a comparison over the 3M or Megs W66.

Gave you my opinions already but to sum it up

The GI BP has the softest backing foam which makes for best polishing on contours

Is about 1/2 the weight of the 3M BP

Is about 1/2 THE PRICE of the 3M BP

Thanks for the reply, and I did send you a reply to your pm?

Anyone else have some feedback on the Evo or 3M?

Ditto on what Dave said, the backing plates work and are cheaper than the 3M counterpart= win, win.

The GI pads and backing plates were derived from the 3m but improved. 3m use a neoprene instead of foam which is more dense but lacks the flexibility of the foam GI backing plates. By using a softer foam this allows a more focus buffing area and helps eliminate the pressure point when applying pressure to the backing plate and pad which can introduce micro marring and holograms. You will find our backing plate will spin much more true again helping any possibility of causing further paint imperfections.

As you will see the backing plates are quality construction and no corners were cut. The same goes for the buffing foam and wool pads.

I use the three inch quite a bit, and as I do many exotic's with curvy fenders the flexible foam in the backing plate is really nice, today I was using the the three inch on a Bentley fender and had some crescent shaped micro marring with the cushioning I was able to bear down and remove the micro marring and move onto finish polishing.
