Mercedes Benz Convertible Top Question

Glossers,

A client stopped by with a 2000 Mercedes Benz CLK320 Cabriolet.

The top is a light grey cloth material.

It looks as if a mold issue is developing? - There are black spots appearing all over the top material - and around the edges of the glass. The Client swears they do not park under trees or drop the top while it is wet... In my opinion it looks like patio furniture which has been left outside for too long...

Without knowing exactly what the spots are - is there a good all purpose convertible top cleaning system wheich you would recommend?

I told my client I would research and get back to her.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Ditto on the roll off, alex it should have an odor to it as well as the black spots are mold spores100% use the roll off with a bristle brush and rinse with DI or any soft water as hard water will make it worse.

To finish use a commercial heat gun to dry the top or leave it outside if it is hot enough.

Ive used Raggtop fabric roof cleaner on my car (black roof), but have used amazing roll-off on other cars and both work great.
